Overtime vs Contractor Cost Calculator

Overtime vs Contractor Cost Calculator takes the hours each job needs, your spare straight-time capacity, your burdened and overtime rates, and each trade's contractor rate and mobilisation charge and returns the cost of covering each job on straight time, on overtime, or with a contractor, and which is cheapest. Straight time = hours × your burdened rate, available only up to the spare capacity you declare. Overtime = hours × your overtime burdened rate. Contractor = hours × the contractor rate for that trade + the mobilisation charge, counted once per job. The cheapest costed option wins, unless the gap is inside your decision margin. Nothing is pre-filled with an outside figure — no contractor rate card, no overtime multiplier, no market labour rate. Every value on every sheet is one you entered or one computed from what you entered, against the As-of date you set on 1. Setup, never today's date.
