Maintenance Staffing Level Calculator

Maintenance Staffing Level Calculator takes PM, corrective, project and shutdown hours per trade, paid hours per technician, your own absence and training allowances, wrench time %, and current headcount and returns the technicians each trade needs to cover its workload, the gap against your current headcount, and what that gap costs. Productive hours per technician = paid hours × (1 − your absence %) × (1 − your training %) × your wrench time %. FTEs required = total demand hours ÷ productive hours per technician. Gap = required − current, and the cost of the gap is the gap × paid hours × your burdened rate. Every allowance is a visible input; none is assumed. Nothing is pre-filled with an outside figure — no staffing ratio, no standard wrench time, no absence allowance, no technicians-per-asset rule of thumb. Every value on every sheet is one you entered or one computed from what you entered, against the As-of date you set on 1. Setup, never today's date.
